When the Indonesian band Gamelan Salukat was holding a music residency for Gerlesborgsskolan 19-23th of March 2023 we got the opportunity to make a recording on traditional gamelan instrument.
The piece is based on a method developed by Henrik Olsson using sixteen dices with rhythmic instructions incorporating chance operation and many possible strategies for group improvisations with a larger ensemble.
